ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced that the Bhara Kahu bypass project had reached a completion rate of more than 50%. (Reported by news source)
This program would make it easier for tourists to travel to Murree while reducing pollution and traffic congestion.
When the project was launched in September of this year, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave the CDA until February 10 to finish it.
An official stated that he didn’t think the project could be finished before April 15 after seeing the scale of the work.
The 6.5-billion-rupee bypass project begins in Malpur and also crosses across Quaid-e-Azam University property.
The road, which is 5.6 km long (including a 1-kilometer flyover), begins from Murree Route in Malpur and ends on Murree Road near the Jugi bus stop next to Punjab Cash and Carry in Bhara Kahu. From the start of the flyover until the end of the local bazaar, the road runs toward Murree.
