LAHORE: On Tuesday, Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Amir Jan examined the remodelling and upgrading of M.M. Alam Road to improve traffic flow. (Reported by news source)
It was examined during a meeting at the LDA office in Johar Town that was co-chaired by Commissioner Lahore and Director General Aamir Ahmed Khan.
The Commissioner stated that an integrated plan was being executed to improve traffic flow throughout the city and that M.M. Alam Road needed to be upgraded immediately to meet the challenge of rising traffic flow.
He stated that encroachments on M.M. Alam Road will be eliminated, and as part of a consultation to improve traffic flow, utility services would also be buried.
He stated that the next consultation meeting for the upgrading of M.M. Alam Road would take place in ten days.
