ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government, as part of its Public Sector Development Program, has approved the usage of development funds of Rs. 241.26 billion out of a total allocation of Rs. 727 billion for a number of ongoing uplift projects. (Reported by news source)
Out of the total authorized sum over the same period, Rs. 98.8 billion was spent on development projects in its entirety.
The federal budget’s development funds are distributed in accordance with the Planning Division’s distribution system at a rate of 20% during the first quarter of a fiscal year (July-September), 30% during each of the second and third quarters, and 20% during the fourth and final quarter (April-June).
The data also shows that Rs. 494 million has been given to the Aviation Division and Rs. 161 million to the Board of Investment.
The Division of Establishment received Rs. 180 million, the Division of Federal Education and Professional Training received Rs. 1.4 billion, and the Division of Housing and Works received Rs. 4.3 billion from the government.
