KARACHI: As part of the Yellow Line BRT project, the Karachi administration will rebuild the Jam Sadiq flyover. In order to ensure efficient traffic flow, it also intends to construct a different flyover. (Reported by news source)
This decision was made during a meeting on Tuesday between Murtaza Wahab, the administrator of Karachi, and other project participants.
The Sindh government’s spokesperson, Murtaza Wahab, said the province’s administration is striving to resolve the city’s transportation problems and give residents additional options for their daily trips.
According to him, improved transportation would be available to residents of Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Darul Islam Society, Allahwala Town, Qayyumabad, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, and the neighbouring districts after the Yellow Line project is finished.
In all of the world’s largest cities, mass transit networks are constructed using contemporary methods. Since Karachi is a major city, we are eager to give it access to contemporary transportation options.
