The building of the Abbottabad to Thandiani Road, a massive project of the provincial government under the integrated tourism development project, will be formally inaugurated by the chief minister.
In a presentation to the meeting on the projects in the road sector, it was made known that construction on the 24.3 km Abbottabad to Thandiani Road has begun and will be finished at a projected cost of Rs3 billion.
Additionally, equipment for construction has been placed on the 22 km Mankyal-Bada Sarai-Jabai Road site, which is expected to cost Rs5.7 billion to complete.
Currently, work is being done to realign the project’s initial 4-km route, which was damaged by the recent flash floods.
Additionally, it is suggested to build an 85-meter bridge at the location in order to prevent future flood-related damage.
