MINGORA: On Monday, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan gave journalists in Swat provisional allotment letters for residential plots in the Dangram Housing Scheme media colony. (Reported by news source)
It is important to note that the Dangram Housing Scheme has a total area of 500 kanals, which is made up of 682 plots. For the journalists of Swat, 71 plots totaling 5 marlas are set aside in the housing project on a self-financing basis.
The Dangram Housing Scheme has roughly 2 percent of its land set aside for cemeteries, 3.5 percent for commercial space, 33 percent for parks and other open space, and about 37 percent set aside for residential sections. Speaking at the event, the chief minister declared that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial government was making significant efforts to offer residential facilities for its inhabitants, which is a crucial step toward the creation of a welfare state.
In order to offer housing options to the populace, the provincial administration has also started housing societies in other province districts.
