ISLAMABAD: The 270-kilometer Hub-Dureji-Dadu Motorway (M-7) project will shortly get under way, according to the National Highway Authority (NHA). (Reported by news source)
The Hub-Dureji-Dadu Motorway project, which would be a component of the southern track from Islamabad to Karachi, will link more cities in Pakistan to the highway system.
A feasibility study and detailed design of the M-7 Motorway have been requested by NHA.
The road will include six service facilities and is expected to help reduce traffic on M-6, according to Project Concept-1.
The project would also be connected to the M-6, a 306-kilometer highway that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently opened and inaugurated between Sukkur and Hyderabad.
The Peshawar-Karachi Motorway’s last segment, the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway, would link Pakistan’s major cities.
As part of the project, Pakistan is expected to develop a highly advanced rail and road network.
