In order to address the encroachment issues, the authorities destroyed more than 400 stores and electrical poles in various urban areas.
According to information, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has set aside Rs.50 million for the construction initiatives related to the beautification programme.
All agencies have been told to employ high-quality materials for construction and to finish the projects within the allotted time limit, according to Deputy Commissioner Hameed Ullah Khattak.
To increase the city’s people’ access to water, the Public Health and Engineering Department has also been given the task of installing pipelines across the city.
The development of Tank’s main road, the installation of solar lighting at strategic locations, and family park amenities are also part of the beautification initiatives.
