The CM also asked about the patient’s health while touring several hospital departments, such as the CT Department, Operation Theatre, and ICU.
In a press conference, Pervaiz Elahi claimed that the Punjabi government was bringing about revolutionary changes to the health system. He stressed his determination to create Gujranwala the best city in the world in terms of education, health, and cleanliness by referring to Health Card as a historic undertaking.
He added that the construction of this 502-bed teaching hospital, which has 19 operating rooms, 40 ICU beds, and provides more than 16 medical services, cost Rs.7.740 billion.
At the new hospital, multi-story housing structures and dormitories for doctors and other staff members have been constructed, and three buses have been set aside for patients, staff, and students. Additionally, contract healthcare workers would be regulated.
