MULTAN: On Thursday, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) started repairing and rebuilding the large clock (Ghanta Ghar) situated at Qila Kuhna Qasim Bagh in order to preserve the historical integrity of the city of saints. (Reported by news source)
The Parks and Horticulture Authority Director General, Asif Rauf Khan, gave explicit instructions to expedite the restoration, reconstruction, and maintenance work on the large clock.
As part of the beautification plan, PHA had finished putting carpet and marigold flowers; however, the remaining work, including installing lighting and other items, would soon be finished.
The planting of marigold flowers is currently occurring in parks, greenbelts, and at various city intersections, according to PHA spokesman Jalaluddin.
Additionally, in parks and green belts, cleaning and tree pruning projects are moving forward swiftly, and a number of other development activities are also under process.
