LAHORE: On Tuesday, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi set the cornerstone for the Samanabad Cricket Stadium, Samanabad Morr Underpass, and Gulshan-e-Ravi T Junction Underpass projects. (Reported by news source)
Speaking at the event, the CM announced that 20 billion rupees worth of initiatives had begun in Lahore and would be finished in a year.
The CM announced that Rs.7.53 billion would be allocated to the Gulshan-e-Ravi T Junction, cricket stadium, and Samanabad Morr underpass projects. The traffic flow would be facilitated by the construction of the Samanabad Morr and Gulshan Ravi T Junction underpass.
He claimed that steps were being taken to transform Lahore into a hub for building and development and a top-tier developed metropolis.
Restoration of Bund Road and Gulshan-e-Ravi T Junction have begun in order to alleviate traffic issues. Within eight months, the rehabilitation of Gulshan-e-Ravi T Junction and Bund Road would be finished for a cost of Rs.4.84 billion.
The projects’ completion would also lessen noise, smog, and environmental pollution.
