In a meeting, the Punjab government decided to lease industrial lands to foreign investors, for which a comprehensive and alluring leasing policy will be developed.
The Special Economic Zones of Punjab, according to senior minister Mian Aslam Iqbal, are important engines of economic expansion and demand special attention for industrialization.
The minister also asked regional investors to become involved and pledged that the buyers of industrial estate plots will reach a comprehensive agreement.
Additionally, Aslam Iqbal demanded that the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) undergo a thorough evaluation and modernization, arguing that the industrialization process and the development of industrial estate infrastructure should be accelerated.
