Swat and Mansehra Will Become KP's First-Ever Integrated Tourism Zones Soon

PESHAWAR: The first Integrated Tourism Zones (ITZs) will be created by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (CTA) through a Public Private Partnership (PPP), with the goal of encouraging sustainable tourism and advancing socioeconomic development in the province. The project, which would cost a total of Rs 12.2 billion, it aims to advance eco-friendly travel and quicken the province’s socioeconomic growth.

Chief Minister Mahmood Khan directed the pertinent authorities to ensure that the aforementioned ITZs projects are implemented in accordance with the designated timelines.

With local attractions including Saiful Maluk Lake, Dudi Patsar Lake, Payala Lake, Shogran, Siri Pai, and Kaghan Valley, the 60-acre ITZ Ganool would be created at an estimated cost of Rs 5.5 billion.

Similar to that, ITZ Mankiyal, which is expected to be created at a cost of Rs 2.9 billion, will be close to places like Jabba Lake, Jarogo Valley, Waterfall Katora Lake, and Swat Valley.
